To Be An Atheist

Atheism-Wall-Crumbling-Faded-Ruined-Sad-900

No one can be an atheist
who does not know all things.
Only God [could be] an atheist.
The devil is the greatest believer
and he has his reasons.

  1. One doesn’t have to know everything to know that your version of the Christian god doesn’t exist. It’s the same as how you know that Allah doesn’t exist. Or do the other gods exist?

And, per the bible, yep, the Devil has his reasons. They are that this god works with the Devil multiple times. Why not believe in a being that works with you? This god allows the murder of a family so it can show off. This god manipulates human minds to force them to work with the Devil (Revelation 17) and this god intentionally frees the devil after locking him up, so it can corrupt more Christians after this god kills all nonChristians (Revelation 19-21).

Unfortunately, neither character exists. As for Flannery O’Connor, she was a devout Catholic, a sect that many other Christians claim isn’t Christian at all.

    • Absence of evidence is evidence of absence. There is only testimony for evidence—those are simply the pesky little hormones triggered by hopeful imaginations backed by herd instinct.

That is why you see yourself doing things alone in only the presence of your god, doing things you would never do even in front of the most vile humans. What others think of us is much more important than what your imagined god thinks. That is proofed every day by private and public behavior and the secrets guile of believers.

      • Jorge, sorry dear, but the tired old whine of Christians that atheists don’t want to answer to your god, is silly since we have yet to see any evidence of your god and silly since us atheists are as law abiding as any one else. You depend on a lie to convince yourself that you are superior to everyone else.

  2. Jim, if I had the ideas about God that you have, I would probably reject him too. If you ever caught a glimpse of what he’s really like, it would be hard for you NOT to bow the knee to him.

    • So, how do we get to see this god of yours, Jorge? Plenty of people ignore you and your imaginary god and nothing happens. We only get pathetic threats from you. And I don’t bow a knee to some sorry creature who kills people who disagree with it, who kills a child for the actions of its parents, who works with its supposedly “evil” arch enemy repeatedly. What a pitiful god.

      • i’m not angry. Why do you find you have to accuse me of that, Jorge?

as for your threats: ” If you ever caught a glimpse of what he’s really like, it would be hard for you NOT to bow the knee to him.” This is the fantasy of Christians who want to believe that their god would be impressive and scary, that people would be forced to submit to it. You are to fear your god, right, Jorge?
