The Real Reason for Rejecting God

Judge3

God exists whether or not men may choose to believe in Him. The reason why many people do not believe in God is not so much that it is intellectually impossible to believe in God, but because belief in God forces that thoughtful person to face the fact that he is accountable to such a God.

    • Ad homimen deflects the attention to the character of a person because one has run out of arguments. In the case of non belief in God, our flawed characters are precisely the crux of the matter. Everyone of us desperately wants to avoid God, yet at the same time desperately needs Him. No one is excluded from this dilemma. We all face that choice. That’s the reality of life for broken people in a broken world. Quod est verum.

You do realise that just because the statement says that is true, doesn’t make it so.

‘Buzz Lightyear exists whether or not people like Toy Story.’
    There you go. Debate that.

  2. Hi there would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re utilizing? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different web browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you recommend a good internet hosting provider at a fair price? Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!

    • I wish I could be of more help to you. I simply make use of WordPress.com’s free site for bloggers and do not pay for the services of any internet hosting provider. I don’t have the information you are looking for. Sorry. Have a good day.
